Vertical is a free daily Bible devotional program hosted by Chase Oaks Church designed to help you connect to God.  Vertical takes just 5 minutes a day, 5 days a week, giving you the weekend off for reflection!  Each day you will read 1 small passage of Scripture chosen from a section of the Wisdom Books (Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon and Job).  The daily readings are conveniently laid out in the Vertical Bookmark, designed to stay in your Bible as a reminder of your daily journey.

In addition to the reading guide, for each day’s reading a short online devotional about that day’s passage will be available for free. These daily devotionals are written by others taking part in the Vertical adventure and are a great way to see how God is working in the life of another person from Chase Oaks.  Best of all, you can sign up to receive these daily devotionals via e-mail!

So How Do You Get Started?

Start by picking up a Vertical Bookmark at Chase Oaks Church or download a copy by clicking here. Follow the reading plan and read the daily devotional for that day’s passage. If you miss a day or get behind, don’t worry. It’s easy to catch up or jump back in where-ever you left off. Vertical isn’t about following a plan, it’s about getting into God’s Word, so no matter where you are or what day it is just pick up with today’s reading and join the conversation!
