Jesus is victorious!
This psalm is our key to taking Jesus into our heart. Jesus is the Lord, the Right Hand (Psalm 110:1) to protect all those who believe in Him.

Like King David, we have to fight to be active in God’s Kingdom and to remain there. We have to fight off resignation, apathy and all the things that keep us from doing His will. But when we believe and act out in His glory, we are protected from all (Psalm 110:5). However, to do His will is usually a simple act that involves surrender and trusting God.

God’s power is great; just look up at the night sky and reflect on the magnitude of the universe. Sometimes it is hard to put ourselves in the same context and think that God loves us just as much.

We can always trust Jesus; He is always constant, always faithful to our needs. He knows us better than we know ourselves and has a plan for each of us, despite all our trials and temptations, like when we take life into our own hands.

Some of us (mainly men) like to keep in control and are reluctant to let God control our lives.

We need God in our lives to have purpose. Our strength will be renewed each day. When we have purpose, we do not get so tired, and become victorious in the blood of Christ.
