This psalm says that the heavens declare the glory of God. That’s their job. The stars and the sun work to declare God’s glory.

And that is our job, too. We were created by God, just like the heavens, and our job is to declare his glory.

We can declare his glory when we tell people about Jesus and when we do good things for people. But that is not all. The last verse of the psalm says that our thoughts and our words help us to declare God’s glory. Let’s make our thoughts and our words today be pleasing to God and His purpose.
